My Partner had wanted a Dogue for as long as he can remember! I said no they are toooo big! He told me we were going to buy a motorcycle and we got to this house and went inside and there were puppies and this one just caught my attention immediately I was in love! That was my Jackson! He was a loving nervous funny dogue and the most obedient dog I’ve ever known! Unfortunately at 2.5 years old we worried as he became unwell. The vet ran tests and told us he needed to be put under anaesthetic for a scan! My Jackson’s heart gave out under the anaesthetic! But they had found cancer in his spleen which would have taken him from us shortly afterwards anyway! I was heartbroken and my heart still aches for him now!
